AME Engineer (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering)

We are looking for a new colleague in the Active Safety Systems team (AOWPT1) at our location in Pontypool site.

Your tasks:

Improve manufacturing process through new or optimised automation solutions Investigate and implement new technologies to improve site performance, quality and delivery. Project manage all improvement from concept to completion. Take a lead role in the digitalisation of the site towards Industry 4.0 Work with other engineers to support new product introduction. Support production to optimise plant performance (OEE)

Your profile:

Electrical background and understand PLC programming. Ideally Siemens and Allan Bradley. It would be beneficial if they have experience of working on or with robots. Can manage multiple technical projects to a high degree of professionalism. (evidence of project management) Minimum of HNC with relevant experience. HND or degree preferred. Have had previous experience in a manufacturing based environment. (Automotive, Aerospace are preference, but all considered)
