About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the senior team in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine at Edge Hill University. The Academic Governance and Quality Manager will be the single authoritative point of contact and oversight for Academic Quality: to take responsibility for all Faculty Quality operational matters and work closely with the Associate Deans and Heads of Schools/Heads of School Admin to ensure that quality assurance and enhancement is developed and maintained across each of the Faculty’s Schools according to institutional regulations and procedures and in alignment with the UK Quality Code.
You will work closely with a wide range of colleagues for whom learning, and teaching matters are a key concern, taking the lead in some areas of work in partnership with the Associate Dean Student Experience and Quality Enhancement, School Directors, Heads of Department, Academic Registry and Governance, Quality Assurance and Student Casework Unit (GQASC).
This will be a varied, and interesting role, which requires excellent organisational skills, flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines to the required quality standards. The post will mainly be based at our Ormskirk Campus, but occasional travel to other sites such as Alder Hey, Aintree, and St James Manchester will be required.
