Job Title: Accredited Financial Investigator Organised Crime Partnership
Salary: £37,569 to £45,189 plus a Location allowance of £1,639. You will receive £37,569 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £45,189 will be via incremental progression.

Contract: 3 Years Fixed Term
This is an exciting opportunity to join a joint MPS and National Crime Agency team of Detectives and NCA Investigators, who are conducting covert proactive investigations against Organised Crime Groups causing harm to London communities. You will be responsible for providing full financial support to the four teams.
Current priorities include, cash detentions & forfeitures, confiscation investigations and enforcement, restraint applications and all forms of cash and asset seizures. You will also be developing Money Laundering investigations as well as utilising all POCA powers including Account Monitoring Orders to assist the teams where required.
This is a role that requires flexibility, determination and the highest levels of professionalism. The role is fast paced and often requires candidates to work extended hours at short notice and to be available for financial advice.

Essential Criteria:
A competent Financial Investigator who is ideally trained as a Financial Investigator.A sound investigative background with previous experience or willingness to learn complex proactive / reactive operations, experience of sensitive investigations/intelligence.Experience in or willingness to learn analysis and handling of sensitive intelligenceExperience of partnership working with internal and external partnersOIC experience of the judicial system and Crown CourtThe applicant must also display a high degree of personal responsibility and motivation

Previous experience high level proactive/covert policing tactics & complex prosecutionsTrained to the level of a competent confiscatorPrevious experience of operations involving sensitive intelligence & involving complex disclosure issues
