You will engage with our customers and partners to provide great service whilst integrating and realising efficiencies throughout delivery of flood risk management programme.The roles are varied and draw upon a diverse range of transferrable skills. Working closely with other teams, you can expect to be involved in the following:• Planning flood risk investment• Project development and appraisal• Developing pipeline of projects to bolster and strengthen the existing and future programmes• Working with public and private partners to achieve flood risk management outcomes for our communities• Working with and supporting Lead Local Flood Authorities in the Wessex Area We are looking for candidates who are preferably degree qualified in an Engineering or Environmental discipline or hold equivalent experience, ideally with experience in flood risk management. You will need to demonstrate ability in the following areas:• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate and influence at all levels• Knowledge of project and programme management would be advantageous • GIS and data analysis skills would be advantageous• Practical approach to problem solving• Proactive approach and fresh perspective will ensure you’re always looking towards continuous improvement• A proven record of working with customers and delivering on time is essential
