Apply to work as part of our Education Administration and Continuous Improvement Team at an unprecedented time of change
As Agile Coach, you will be responsible for the introduction of an agile methodology, mindset and ways of working within the recently formed Education Administration and Continuous Improvement team. You will assume responsibility as agile process lead, working with delivery teams/squads, but also at the programme and portfolio level, and with user groups, to provide expertise and recommendations.
As an expert, specialist role, you will be responsible for developing the mindset, strategy, standards and requirements for a tailored agile methodology and toolkit to enable delivery of key programme activities for the Education Administration and Continuous Improvement team. You will be an agile advocate, shaping working practices and steering members of the team to ensure activities are conducted in an agile manner, helping them to navigate industry standard agile tools and software.
Your background will include extensive experience of coaching and mentoring teams in agile practices, overseeing successful adoption and striving for maturity to enable members to perform to their maximum potential and be self-managing. You are adept at working with senior stakeholders to gain buy-in of the value of agile methodology and are a champion of the positives of agile methodology, acting as a source of inspiration, motivation, knowledge and expertise.
As the successful candidate, you will have a Degree/professional qualification, demonstrable knowledge of agile principles and methodology, ideally with an agile certification, and be adept at coaching large, cross-functional teams and leading process and transformational change.
This role is available on a fixed term basis for 3 years. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
