Riverside School is an over-subscribed community day special school, which caters for children aged 2 - 19 years. The school’s designation has also changed to be more embracing of all special educational needs. In addition to this building work, the school is developing a range of outdoor facilities to enhance pupils’ learning further. We now have a fabulous site on which we meet the needs of our children.
The ideal person will be willing to work with children within a school environment, be able to demonstrate the competencies detailed in the person specification. Applications are welcome from those who have attained the Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification or equivalent and seek to tackle a rigorous Level 3 qualification within a year.
