An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to secure full time employment, whilst also receiving hands on vocational education and training. Schindler will provide all the necessary training, facilities, resources and coaching required for this very desired apprenticeship. A full- time apprenticeship with Schindler involves rotations across our business, focussing on service and maintenance new installations, modernisation and repairs of escalators, lifts and moving walkways. This will allow our apprentices to develop a full range of skills in all aspects of our business. We are looking to recruit an Apprentice in the Midlands area, covering Birmingham, Coventry and Nottingham.
The successful candidate must be hard working, determined and ambitious with a passion for learning and progressing their career within an innovative customer focussed company. At the end of the apprenticeship and upon successful graduation, you'll become a fully qualified lift engineer. If at the time of graduation, a relevant position becomes available, you'll be offered the opportunity to join one of our Field Operation teams with the potential to further your development within Schindler. Working week Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 17.00pm Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm Total hours per week: 37.00 Annual wage £10,500 -£11,500.00 (Dependant on location). Expected duration 42 months (3.5 years).
