Vistra is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst for its Client Payroll Platforms project. The role will support the Client Payroll growth. Defining the solutions required by the client when seeking to Integrate data with Vistra downstream systems
This role will deliver the next generation of Vistra’s Client Payroll services, with HCM platform integrations (Workday, SAP), in-country payroll processor platform integrations, global dashboards, analytics, time and leave management, and associated requirements.
This is an exciting global strategic growth initiative, with Board-level sponsorship and moving at pace.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate across the front-to-back business and support functions to build a process and requirements inventory. The work will involve stakeholders across Commercial, Risk, Legal, Finance, Tax, Compliance, HR, Operations, and Technology. Understand existing processes and Technology in order to build a cohesive end to end client-facing solution. Drive end-to-end process (re)design and performance improvement through the identification and elimination of waste (non-value-added activities). Support and facilitate process mapping workshops or interviews with Risk, Legal, Finance, HR and Operations to capture As Is processes and define the To Be Processes. Capture workshop/interview findings and document As Is and To Be Processes, for the global operating model and also country-level implementations Develop training materials and plans, and deliver process training to both internal operational users and external client end users. Support business in documenting their detailed process steps in a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Apply industry best practices to support business process design and improvement. Ensure adherence to company’s change framework, governance and project management standards and templates. Support in developing detailed delivery plans. Understand the principles of project scope and assist the project manager in dealing with scope changes. Gather, model and analyse data to test hypotheses and size process improvement opportunities. Apply analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving. Develop and refine recommended solutions to address issues and capture opportunities. Communicate insights and plans effectively to cross-functional team members and management. The project is in-flight and therefore the candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to hit the ground running and execute on pre-defined plans. This project involves internal teams which are globally dispersed across the Americas, EMEA and APAC.
Attributes/Technical Skills(Very) nice to have: domain experience of HR, Payroll, Employment processes, Client facing Operations and Service Delivery. Experience in implementing, maintaining or supporting at least 1 major global payroll application. 5+ years of work experience in a Business Analyst capacity. Demonstrate experience in process/value stream mapping, as well as process improvement or reengineering efforts within an operations environment. Demonstrate experience in delivering Technology solutions to support business processes. Strong understanding of the project management processes. Strong analytical skills – gather data, structure and execute quantitative and qualitative analyses. Synthesize findings and develop recommendations. Very good team player with distinctive communication skills and high interpersonal competence, high motivation and positive work attitude. Strong stakeholder management skills. Capability to proactively figure out next steps and break through stalemate situations Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in written and oral English. Highly organized, attention to detail, excellent follow through skills and ability to work independently and motivate a team. Must have excellent skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and other Microsoft Office applications.
University degree, preferably in a business, finance or computer science discipline. Project management qualification such as MSP, Prince2 or PMI desirable. Lean or six sigma experience in operational, process, and performance improvement projects including process mapping and process re-design.
