We operate a successful and highly respected Incident Management Service 24/7, 365. We know climate change will increase the frequency and severity of incidents. We need to change to be ready for this so that we provide the best quality of service we can afford whilst ensuring incident response is life enhancing for our staff. This is an opportunity to lead the implementation of the changes that we need to make. You will enable and support these changes, advising on the impacts of change, mitigating the risks associated with change and supporting our senior staff with leading the organisation through the changes in our incident processes and ways of working. You will work closely with the Corporate Change team and other important projects to consider the overall impact of change on our business and people. We are looking for an enthusiastic, engaging and self-driven person who thrives on the challenges and opportunities that come with change. You will have direct experience in managing or supporting large change initiatives and will have demonstrated great engagement skills. You will be collaborative, resilient and able to establish your own networks to achieve outcomes. You will be able to demonstrate good initiative and self-motivation. Overall you will be a really strong team player with a clear record of delivering people and business change. A good knowledge of the Environment Agency and our incident management work are both desirable but not essential. Some experience of working in a project and/or programme management environment is desirable but not essential.
