The job itself

We are looking for casual Activity Instructors to work at our leisure facilities in East Riding of Yorkshire. Work is of a casual nature and applicants should be prepared to work ‘as and when’ required. Hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekdays and weekends and bank holidays.

Applicants should refer to the attached job outline and specification for information on requirements for the post. Applicants must meet all of the essential to be shortlisted for an interview.

East Riding Leisure Driffield

East Riding Leisure Haltemprice

East Riding Leisure Beverley

East Riding Leisure South Holderness

East Riding Leisure South Cave

East Riding Leisure Withernsea

East Riding Leisure Francis Scaife, Pocklington

East Riding Leisure Goole

Please note – applications are automatically sent to the facility managers of all our leisure facilities, therefore if you do not specify a location preference, we may not be aware which location you wish to be interviewed for. To avoid this confusion please specify in your supporting statement which of the above leisure facilities you wish to be considered for. We would be happy to accept an application for more than one location if you wish to apply for multiple locations.

Applicants should be aware that if there is no casual work available at the specified leisure facility at that time, your application will be held on file by the leisure centre for a period of six months only. If, during that time, casual work becomes available, your application will be shortlisted as per the normal recruitment process and you will be contacted as to whether or not you have been shortlisted for interview. You will be informed (via email), if there is no casual work available at the specified Leisure Centre. If you have not heard from us at all regarding your application form, you may contact us and we will try to update you, or alternatively you can contact the leisure centre directly.
