You will work closely with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders, taking an integrated catchment-based approach to deliver exciting and valuable environmental outcomes that contribute to our EA2025 and the Governments 25 Year Plan.You will work collaboratively with partners to turn plans into actions, develop ideas, identify opportunities, drive activities and deliver multiple benefits for the environment. You will ensure that environmental outcomes are delivered efficiently through effective and innovative interventions in the catchment at waterbody and catchment scale, from source to sea. The role will principally focus on the South Devon Management Catchment but there will be the need to work with and support team colleagues in other catchments. The successful candidate will also have the exciting opportunity to grow with our organisations’ wider ambitions around Natural Capital, Plastic Waste, Carbon, Biodiversity Net Gain and more. The person we are looking for will have excellent communication skills and will bring people together, encouraging innovation and harnessing other’s expertise and resources. Experienced in working in partnership you’ll make opportunities to collaborate with others.You will work with the South Devon Catchment Partnership, other stakeholders and Agency teams to identify, develop and deliver partnership projects using data and evidence to prioritise action. You will support their work to look for funding and open-up opportunities to achieve multiple benefits from other projects and new developments. An ability to develop projects and manage them throughout their lifecycle is an important skill. You will be keen to use IT to work flexibly and efficiently, have the desire to develop new ideas and learn from peers.
