Salary: Grade 9 (£53,353 - £61,823 p.a. depending on experience)
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

The Lead Development Consultant will be responsible for co-ordinating and implementing the breadth of the OD&PL department’s activities for the Curriculum Redefined initiative.
This activity encompasses provision for curriculum and learning design, organisational and leadership development and enhancements to the associated professional development and recognition opportunities for academic and professional services staff and teams.
You will work closely with the OD&PL Leadership Team to provide a joined-up approach and plan for designing and delivering the department’s contribution to CR. This will include commissioning external expertise and provision to complement in-house design and delivery.
You will provide line management for the OD&PL Academic Development Consultant team aligned with the Learning Design Agency (LDA). The latter is providing the structure for implementing innovation in curriculum and learning design, taking a Design Thinking based approach.
You will work with the LDA Leadership Group, which includes the OD&PL Director of Academic Practice, contributing to the design and delivery of relevant provision and to evaluate the effectiveness of activities.
You will liaise with the Curriculum Redefined Project Management Team and represent OD&PL at relevant project meetings and events.
