The role As a Design Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll lead the creation of a new quality assurance environment for a disruptive manufacturing technology.
Day to day, you’ll investigate, create, and develop processes for use within the AM team (application management). This will be for a variety of functions.
Write formal processes and process maps that are compliant with the Land Defence QMS (quality management system). Lead audits and quality assurance activities within the AM team. Interact with the wider quality organisation, within Land Defence and the wider Babcock group. Interact with the authority via multiple routes including direct conversation, meetings, workshops, TQNs (total quality network) and digital communication.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Andover with travel required to various sites (milage paid).
Essential experience of the Design Engineer:
Previous quality role experience Experienced in writing processes Problem solver Ability to work on own or as part of a team
Qualifications for the Design Engineer:
Degree level qualified within an engineering discipline
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
