Education Liaison Assistant

About the Role

You will work as part of the dedicated and enthusiastic Education Liaison and Events Team who lead on the development of a range of activities for potential students, delivered in schools and colleges and on campus. 

Your main role will be to promote the University and attract high quality students to undergraduate courses through liaison with schools, colleges and careers services. You will work in a range of targeted schools and colleges regionally and across the UK, delivering presentations, attending careers fairs and enhancing relationships in order to increase applications from these institutions.

About You

With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships, working collaboratively as part of a team to meet shared objectives. You will be able to demonstrative confidence in presentations, as well as a focused and organised approach to work with excellent time management and prioritisation skills. 

You will have experience of working with young people in an educational setting, creating bespoke and engaging activities and have an understanding of the issues and barriers relating to the progression of learners in Higher Education. 

You must be available to travel extensively across the UK and be willing to undertake regular overnight stays. 

Internal staff wishing to apply for a fixed term role as a secondment opportunity must discuss this with their existing line manager before applying.
