The role is for 0.6FTE, with the working days being Wednesday to Friday. Our communities are at the heart of our FRT’s work. The team are the home of our flood warning and informing service, including our area commitment to the Flood Warning Expansion Programme (FWEP). The Environment Agency is a Category 1 incident responder and, as a key leader, you would also be expected to undertake an incident role and to contribute to our incident response in the Midlands. This is a leadership role and you will ideally have experience in leading people, delivering to targets and supporting individuals to grow, develop and be safe.Effective relationships, across your peers and beyond, are key to delivery, especially given the job-share nature of this role. You will be experienced in working across organisations. You will be a confident and successful communicator, able to influence and support others, inside and outside of your organisation. Familiarity with the Environment Agency would be advantageous but not essential, full training is provided
