Flood Warning Expansion Project Senior Advisor

The Flood Warning Expansion Project (FWEP) will expand our Flood Warning Services to all high risk properties by December 2022. As an Advisor you will play a key role in delivery of project outcomes. You will support the delivery and embedding of new flood warnings produced by FWEP within the operational service. You will also ensure contribute to project reviews and learning to feed into post project business as usual activities and future development plans.You will apply a working knowledge of how we develop, embed, and use flood forecast and warnings in the operational Flood Warning Service. You will use this knowledge to support and guide Area and National teams implement FWEP deliverables and to find effective and efficient solutions as required to ensure FWEP outcomes are embedded into the operational Flood Warning service. You will engage with Area Flood Resilience teams and National IM&R teams and help maintain effective working relationships. You will also have a support on promoting the FWEP project with other internal and external stakeholders. • A working knowledge of the EA’s Flood Incident Management service, particularly Flood Forecasting or Flood Warning. This may be from your day job, or you may have a relevant Incident role.• Comfortable with collating, using and manipulating large detailed datasets and spreadsheets • Experienced at collating, analysing and presenting data• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships• Ability to handle multiple work streams and priorities• Good attention to detail
