Providing all round HR support to a busy manufacturing facility, supporting the employees and leadership to ensure best practice HR support.
Manage high volume Employee Relations issues at the Coventry plant such as: Attendance Reviews; Disciplinary (up to and including dismissal); Grievance & Flexible Working Requests. Support Managers, providing advice and guidance in respect of all ER matters escalating complex cases and appeals as appropriate within the HR structure. Work alongside other members of the HR team to ensure that all employee relations issues are dealt with in a timely manner in line with the Company policies and procedures Support Managers in respect of managing poor performance and performance improvement plans. Effectively manage short and long-term absence processes, to drive a reduction to below the Company target Work with Occupational Health & Management to ensure that all employees with restrictions or issues are being managed back into the business, escalating capability cases to HRBP, if required. Ensure that Occupational Health referrals are received and/or completed prior to appointments
A degree or equivalent in a relevant HR related subject or experience within a HR role An empathetic and engaging style A best practice approach to Employee Relations with some experience of mediation. SAP SF knowledge would be a plus.
