The Lead Project Support Officer will work closely with the Programme Manager and the Senior Officer to ensure that the project delivery is on track and that key milestones and targets are achieved across the whole of the Programme. Working with colleagues and external partners, you will have a key role in ensuring reporting standards are met and that record systems are maintained. You will support Programme governance through providing secretariat services and related support to senior leaders. You will use project management skills to collate risks and issues, and to work with external partners and colleagues across the organisation in preparing reports and other programme metrics.
Occasional travel may be required e.g. for workshops, meetings and training.
Key tasks/principal accountabilities.
Appling project management skills in developing and maintaining tools and reporting processes, supporting the Programme Manager and the Senior Officer. Ensuring that stakeholder responsibilities and needs are understood and addressed through reporting arrangements. Develop peer networks both internally and externally.Monitoring and analysing information, reporting progress, slippage and highlighting areas of risk and opportunity.Managing the reporting of risks and issues and maintaining other logs and databases for the Programme. Work collaboratively with the wider Programme Team and partners to ensure risks, challenges, opportunities, and financial concerns are spotted quickly and appropriate actions are taken.Provide support and secretariat as needed for Programme Governance and meetings, including the Steering Groups and Programme Board.Takes responsibility for record systems and their management, and to provide support in meeting the reporting requirements for the Programme as a whole with particular attention to the Natural England workstreams.How to Apply:
