18 Month Fixed Term Contract or Secondmemt based at either Kidlington or Sulhamstead
We are looking to attract a Leadership Trainer to design, develop and deliver leadership and continuous professional development training to police officers and staff.
The ideal candidate will possess recent and relevant experience of managing a wide ranging portfolio including motivating and leading teams, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong influencing and decision making skills. A training qualification to a recognised national level (e.g. Level 3 Certificate in Education and Training) or management qualification to a recognised national level (e.g. Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management) is required.
You must be a competent user of Microsoft 365 applications, IT literate, with a proven standard of report writing skills and English in order to communicate orally and writing with people at all levels of the organisation and externally. Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working; public transport may not be available or suitable at these times. For this reason a full UK driving licence is considered essential.
The successful candidate will be asked to act as ‘Lead Trainer’ in the policing operations curriculum area.
