The University of Bradford Library is currently recruiting two Library Services Assistants to join our Library Customer Services Team. Library Services Assistants provide a range of Library services to our staff and students through our busy library helpdesk as well as some working back of house on a range of self-directed administrative duties such as offering an online chat service, processing reservations and interlibrary loans. The roles are based on the Bradford University Campus a few minutes walk from the city centre in the J.B. Priestley Library.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with previous experience of working in a busy customer facing role with a diverse customer base. This is primarily a front of house role which includes handling enquiries at a busy helpdesk and supporting students in using library services such as showing them how to use the online library catalogue and printing.
Please note this is a full-time fixed term role of 10 months to start ASAP - 31st August 2023. Hours of work, 36.25 per week, 8.45 – 17.00 Monday-Friday.
