Job at Well Pharmacy in Wales

Job Title: Merchandiser

Salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on experience) + Company Car

Contract: Permanent

Location: Field Based - UK (South West)

The Role:

The Merchandiser, is responsible for the implementation of retail standards across the Well Pharmacy portfolio, primarily driving sales in several pharmacies within an agreed timeframe. You will spend your time in pharmacies, working in a hands-on manner and coaching teams to improve their skills in OTC Stock System, merchandising and implement promotional campaigns. You must have a good understanding of the financial performance of the pharmacies in their portfolio and the factors which influence this, so that you can positively impact commercial performance. You will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager, Central Support and Field Management to agree their priorities and focus.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Safety, Quality and Standards

Works with the Pharmacists and their teams to ensure that their work complies with GPhC standards & requirements of the NHS contract

Operational

Effectively uses all available commercial information to assess performance and make decisionsDrives standards of product presentation and on shelf availability in our pharmaciesDrives the delivery of the relevant KPIs through effective commercial managementSupports the delivery of excellent standards through ensuring compliance with all processes & proceduresMonitors competitor activity to look for opportunities to grow market shareParticipates in or contributes to other projects & activities as required by the businessCreate a Best in Class ‘Look and Feel’ in our Pharmacies
