36 hours per week – including shifts 7am - 2pm and 2pm - 9pm

We are seeking a Care and Support Assistant to join our team. Rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, Tilmore Gardens provides registered supported housing for ten adults on the outskirts of Petersfield.
You’ll be part of our wider team who prioritises going above and beyond to support our residents in reaching their goals and celebrating their achievements. We’re not just there for our residents though, we’re there for each other too.

We are located close to the A3 with a free, spacious car park, but if you don’t drive, we’re also conveniently near a train station.
Our beautiful garden is home to the ‘Tilmore Arms’, our pub-themed social shared space for residents to socialise in with friends and family.

The role of Care and Support Assistant will include:Key working with individuals to support them in setting out a care and support plan Following care plans and writing comprehensive care notes Providing a high quality, personalised care and support service including the sensitive delivery of personal care and managing medication Helping residents to get up, washed and dressed Supporting residents to go to into the local community e.g. visits to local shops and cafes, visiting friends and attending doctors appointments Promoting a positive culture by engaging with residents to prevent social isolation Working with residents and other staff members to ensure a clean and comfortable environment Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments
Skills and experiences:Prior experience delivering personal care is desirable A kind, caring nature Ability to work well both as part a team and on own initiative Ability to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of residents Excellent organisation skills NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards, is desirable
