Nightsafe Manager (Secondment/Fixed Term Contract)

Fixed Term Contract or Secondment until 31 March 2023

This exciting opportunity has arisen to design and drive the strategic direction for Oxford Local Police Area (LPA) night time economy. Lead and manage this provision and manage the partnership activity with the Local Council and businesses engaged in the Night Time Economy. Ensure an effective and efficient service is provided both on the LPA and with partners.

You will manage and coordinate the enforcement of the night-time economy, working with key partners to provide analysis in order to prevent future incidents. This will include establishing and supporting a Nightsafe Network of key partners around the City by developing network of partner agencies/businesses to increase safety of those using and enjoying the night time economy.

It is essential you have experience of managing multi-agency projects and presenting to senior staff members. You must be self-motivated, resilient and able to use own initiative whilst working independently or within a team and proven ability to negotiate and influence across a range of business areas. Capability to travel across the Force during unsociable hours maybe required.
