Help to grow is a 12-week management course, which includes one to one support from a business mentor and access to an alumni network. Delivered by business schools, which gained the Small Business Charter (SBC) by the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS), courses are running in the leading business schools across the UK
Managing a small team and utilising your experience of project ownership, delivering projects to time and budget, ability to work highly collaboratively with internal and external partners and using your highly developed analytical and organisational skills, you will manage the operational aspects and student administration policies and processes for the Help to Grow programme in the school identifying and scheduling priorities, being responsible for the efficient operation of the programme within specific guidelines as determined by the funder as well as managing and motivating the administrative staff involved in the Help to Grow scheme on a day to day basis ensuring objectives of the programme are met within agreed timescales
You will also be responsible for the scheme’s delegated budget ensuring it is correctly allocated, monitored and operates within approved limits, university procedures and the annual planning cycle and manage the production of financial returns to the funder to reclaim expenditure due to the University.
The role is based on our Moulsecoomb Campus but there are opportunities for some remote working too.
This post is full-time (37 hours per week), and fixed term for two years. This job is suitable for job sharing.
