Job Title: People Administrator
Salary: £21,000 - Pro Rata
Contract: 6 Months FTC
Work Pattern: Part Time - 22.5 Hours Per Week
Location: Merchants Warehouse, Manchester - (Hybrid Working)
The Role:
Gain a thorough working knowledge of all administration within the team, including Reward, Resourcing and Development administration. Responsibilities will include managing the team’s inbox’s and answering colleague queries; administering all benefits and recognition schemes. This role is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with the potential to be Permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
Triaging the team inboxes, advising on basic queries relating to reward, resourcing and development.Issuing eye care vouchers in line with scheme eligibility, responding the queries relating the scheme.Issue colleague discount cards to new starters, liaising with supplier as required, and responding to queries relating to the scheme.Administer colleague Cycle to Work applications and respond with approval decision, ensuring payroll are accurately informed where deductions are requiredEnsure Well Perks / Reward Gateway is kept up to date with starters / leaversTo submit monthly employee data to Private Medical Insurance and Health Assessment SuppliersTo order stock required for recognition schemes, e.g. Vouchers, Stars badges, Long Service badges, Recognition postcardsTo send out invites to exit interviews to all pending leaversDistribution of recognition rewards, e.g. Long Service packs, Stars badges, and vouchersUpdates to the Intranet (Hub) as requested by the Reward & Data SpecialistAdministration relating to annual salary review process (mail merge and distribution of letters)Administration relation to bonus scheme processes (mail merge and distribution of letters)Input of benefit take-up onto employee records in the People systemReviewing data to report on Charity FundraisingSupporting with other People Administration commensurate to the level of the role.Ensuring all documentation is maintained and updated in the People shared folders, Intranet (Hub) and Careers Website and to ensure any changes are appropriately communicated to key stakeholders.Assist the Reward and Data Specialist on PO raising where necessaryProblem Solving & Change:
Working to a set of objectives which are reviewed monthly, reacting to day to day queries from stakeholders across the businessUnderstanding some complexity in administration requirements, e.g. bespoke letters for ASR/bonusResponding to employee queries relating to schemes/processes responsible for administering.Key knowledge and skills required:
Would suit someone with good analytical skills, particularly with the use of Microsoft ExcelGood communication skills, both written and oralExperience of working to key objectives and managing own workExperience working with other people / part of teamKnowledge of GDPR and ability to follow data protection processes and retain confidentialityAble to independently prioritise own workloadIn return, we offer:
