We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic person to help support two of our managers and their wider Evidence and Risk teams. You will provide great administrative and team support, helping to plan and arrange meetings and travel, coordinate and schedule leave arrangements and other general support to help the team function as smoothly and efficiently as possible. A high level of initiative is required to prioritise tasks and information, so the managers you support are kept fully informed on key messages and items to help manage the effectiveness of their time. The ability to forward look and prioritise effectively is a must. You will have a range of learning and development opportunities to suit your interests, which can include working in incident management or opportunities to learn about our Capital Programme including site visits and developing skills within the wider team role. This role will be supporting the managers of the Inland and Coastal Teams, reporting to the Coastal Manager, with your time split between both teams.You will also work closely with the PA to the Deputy Director. We are looking for someone with sound administrative experience and the following skills: A fun and friendly, can-do attitude Good communications skills and a team playerAble to prioritise workload effectively and work on own initiative and primarily unsupervised Be conversant with common place computer systems such as Microsoft Office and be able to learn and pick up new bespoke IT systems. Training in new systems is available The ability to plan meetings, schedule dates and align timings and support the meetings with planning ideas, action based minute taking and facilitation.Support to managers including where necessary diary and inbox management, and able to effectively resolve conflicting appointments and prioritise emails for your managers
