We're looking for experienced serving police constables who have a passion for serving the communities of Derbyshire. Applicants from British Transport Police may apply but their application will be reviewed at the shortlisting stage before a decision is made.The Recruitment ProcessStage 1: Your application – you will need to provide evidence of why you wish to transfer to Derbyshire Constabulary and what challenges do you think you will encounter.Stage 2: Interview – this will be with two senior officers who will be assessing you against the personal qualities required for a Constable, and also your commitment to Derbyshire Constabulary and the challenges that we face as a County (details of whether this will be conducted in person or online will be confirmed closer to the time).Stage 3: Pre–employment checks – If you are successful at the interview you will be invited in for a medical and fitness test.
