Are you keen to play a big part in Improving the Environment of Devon and Cornwall ?This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future environment of Devon Cornwall and Isles of Scilly through the delivery of innovative environmental improvement projects. We are looking for an individual to develop and manage a portfolio of partnership projects including fish passes, natural flood management, habitat creation, river restoration and diffuse pollution initiatives. The projects contribute to the achievement of corporate objectives for Water Framework Directive (WFD) Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM), Fisheries, Water Resources and Biodiversity targets. You will work closely with Catchment Co-ordinators, Catchment Partnerships and Agency teams to ensure the projects you develop and deliver are evidence-led and meet Catchment Partnership priorities as well as meeting our Net Zero Carbon ambitions.You will also be involved in ensuring Programme delivery including the monitoring and reporting requirements of the wider Environment Programme in Devon and Cornwall. The person we are looking for will have experience in managing a variety of partnership environmental improvement projects. We are looking for someone with drive, resilience, and a passion for partnership working and delivery. You will need to have recent partnership working experience and be comfortable with initiating, influencing and developing projects from concept to delivery. You will be skilled in finding funding and open up opportunities to achieve multiple benefits from projects and new developments. An ability to develop projects and manage them throughout their lifecycle is an important skill. You will be keen to use IT to work flexibly and efficiently, have the desire to develop new ideas and learn from peers.
