Summary of role The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing all Actuation Technologies business within the territory, generating value and growth for both our existing customer base and Emerson whilst seeking new business. Responsibilities • Responsible for the achievement of bookings and gross profit targets for the complete Actuation Technologies portfolio in the agreed sales territory • Identify & understand the specific market requirements within the territory • Increase the Emerson Actuation Technologies market share by targeted competitor displacement across all product ranges, customers, and industries • Develop & execute strategies to maximise revenue & gross margins • Identify new and actively engage with existing customers and opportunities by promoting outstanding product features and deploying the best sales practices and technical knowledge • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business, needs and language and actively promote suitable products and solutions to address these needs • Effectively build account relationships to become the trusted adviser within selected accounts and become their go to contact for actuation • Understand the customers’ business, their drivers and their goals • Provide support in the development of large, strategic sales opportunities and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in key accounts Requirements • Minimum 5 years of solid track record in sales • Minimum of 3 years experience within the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Chemical Industries • Minimum of 3 years experience working with flow control application • Behave with integrity at all times • Collaborative team player • Experience in developing long term relationships with external customers • The ability to communicate with all levels within and outside the organization • Excellent presentation skills • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge within the actuation sphere • Possess strong business and financial acumen • Willingness to travel (50% to 75% of time) • Driving license WE LOVE STEM: No one
