This is your opportunity to join Babcock International working closely with our internal SAP technical, functional, programme and management team to deliver high quality SAP testing.
Who we are looking for? We are looking for a flexible and analytical individual who has excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
What will you be doing? As a SAP Quality and Test Lead you will play a key role accountable for all areas of SAP testing and change procedures across our existing SAP solutions, for all changes, patching, programmes and projects. Leading the SAP Testing Neptune Programme driving the strategy as well as managing day to day changes.
Your duties will include: • Establishing regular and fit for purpose test strategies and manage the testing resources accordingly to execute testing cycles to plan, across all SAP on premise and cloud solutions. • Ensuring all system and functional changes are delivered into production via well-defined tests and procedures to minimize disruptions to production services. • All associated test evidence needs to be captured and be audit compliant. • Ability to track and communicate testing progress to the management team in a structured format / report. • Working with the SAP Project Manager to ensure all Programme and Projects have an agreed testing strategy, report, plan and record all associated evidence to deliver / transition to Production successfully. • Working with functional and technical teams to ensure all defects are fixed, tested and reported. Schedule regular triage meetings and ensure any blockers or issues are highlighted to the programme/management team to ensure efficient resolution.
The experience you’ll bring • Must have or have the ability to obtain SC security clearance • Proven experience of managing SAP test scripts, test plans or changes for SAP enterprise and SAP cloud solutions where operational availability is critical • Experience of Testing SAP ECC, BW, BPC, Treasury, Fiori SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc • Experience of testing of large SAP Programmes, Projects, Changes and System or Legal patching. • Working in a challenging and complex organisation with demonstrable experience of managing organisational, business and technical change • Knowledge of the SAP functional processes (preferably finance, asset maintenance, procurement and supply chain, HR and Projects) • Experience throughout multiple full SAP lifecycles (system testing, integration testing, defect management, regression testing and UAT) • Ability to interpret design documentation and identify test cases • Experience delivering robust testing plans and scripts to an agreed industry standard • Ability to operate within waterfall and agile methodologies • Proven experience in managing resources to drive and deliver quality releases for complex SAP technology solutions • Experience using HP ALM or equivalent ALM toolset
