As a Security Controller you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Babcock is a trusted provider of integrated solutions for global defence and security. Day to day, you’ll ensure that Babcock complies with their security obligations as a company with List X accredited sites, ensure that all staff within Babcock are aware, to a level appropriate to their role, of their security obligations within Babcock whilst working in a List X or secure customer environment and distribute company security instructions (or equivalent) and to see that they are readily available, updated and carried out. You’ll also responsible for the Security Management Plan as applied to the Babcock contract and maintain the company personnel security database to provide an acceptable level of assurance as to the integrity of people who are given authorised access to sensitive government information or valuable assets.

Tewkesbury but you must be able to travel throughout the UK.
Essential experience
• Able to pass government security vetting at all levels required to perform the job. • Proven experience of working in a security role within a List X environment. • Full current driving licence. • Able to work flexible hours. • Able to travel throughout the UK.
