Our Bottling and Bulk Spirit operations across the UK & Ireland produce a range of premium products from our portfolio of Gins, Scotch whisky and Irish Whiskeys servicing a global customer base. Responsibilities, duties and tasks-
To ensure the safety and security of people, premises and property. You will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements of Springburn Bond, maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism. You must be trustworthy and professional in your approach.
Duties-Greet and register all visitors in a pleasant professional manner. Explain site rules and procedures to visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out. Protect the company’s property, staff and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Undertake site patrols and inspections in accordance with management instruction. Monitor, control and protect the site using CCTV and security systems. Handle incoming telephone calls in a professional manner during and out with office hours. Conduct open and lock up procedures. Carry out Security searches. Register vehicle movements. Communicate with all departments as required. Liaise with emergency services as required. First aid duties. Ensure all Health &Safety policies are adhered to. Monitor traffic and pedestrian movements. Carry out monthly fire safety checks. Responsible for the control of vehicles leaving the site and ensuring Compliance of Statutory requirements in relation to Bonded Goods. Assist in the management of incoming and outgoing mail/parcels

Minimum requirements:Education – Standard Grades or equivalent Proficient in working with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Certifications/Licenses – SIA License Years of experience – Several years in a Security environment or similar Level of experience – Security Officer
Additional qualifications/experience desired:First Aid Excellent communication and people skills Experience with CCTV and Security systems Banksman experience Driving License Industry experience
Requirements-Experience of working in a security environment including site patrols. Experience in inputting and accessing data from PC-based databases. Exceptional telephone, written and verbal communication skills and customer service awareness. Reliable with excellent time-management skills. Must be a team player with the ability to use own initiative. Flexible - will be required to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts. Demonstrable knowledge of the security industry.
