Salary: Grade (£28,762 - £34,308 p.a. depending on experience)
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Accountant with a strong commitment to customer service to provide outstanding service across the Facilities Directorate. Reporting to the Senior Accountants, you will work closely with colleagues across the Directorate providing them with a high quality and professional financial support service. Your main responsibilities will include financial planning and forecasting, budgetary control and management of account structures.
You will have substantial experience of working in a similar role and have excellent analytical and IT skills. You will also be a strong team player and have the ability to work effectively on your own initiative.
This vacancy is within the Finance Service but is based in the Facilities Directorate. However, should the business need arise, and after full consultation with you, you may be deployed elsewhere within the Finance Service.
