• Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills: An excellent telephone manner and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, even under pressure, are paramount.
• Demonstrate Customer Focus: Previous experience in a customer-facing role is essential. You'll be the first point of contact for many, so a genuine desire to assist and resolve queries is vital.
• Be Meticulous with Cash Handling: Proven experience in managing and reconciling cash transactions is a requirement.
• Exhibit Adaptability: While previous experience with computerised booking systems is desirable, a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new technologies will be highly valued.
• Exhibit Strong Organizational Skills: Attention to detail is key, whether it's managing bookings, handling lost property, or ensuring membership validity.
• Embrace Flexibility: The available shifts require a degree of flexibility. Post 1 offers 28.5 hours per week with a combination of weekend and evening shifts, while Post 2 offers 14.25 hours per week, also with specific weekend and Friday working hours.
