Derbyshire Constabulary are looking to recruit a Stalking Co-ordinator to join the Crime Support Department on a full-time, permanent basis, based at Headquarters, Ripley. Derbyshire Police has a duty to safeguard members of the public and ensure that they can live in an environment free of stalking and harassment. As the Stalking Co-ordinator you will support Derbyshire Police in the identification and risk assessment of stalking incidents, both Domestic Abuse and non-Domestic Abuse related. The role will act as a subject matter expert, keeping pace with national best practice and ensuring the force keeps compliant with national guidance and force procedures, thereby promoting best practice, and managing risk of harm to vulnerable people.The role will Improve the quality of service provided to victims of stalking through improved identification of cases, appropriate allocation of investigations taking into account risk assessments, maximising opportunities for additional control measures through civil orders and coordinating the relentless pursuit of offenders.You must hold a full UK driving licence or have the ability to travel throughout the County to represent the Force.You will work closely with partner organisations to ensure that the correct support and information is available to victims and the links are made with the investigating officers of any crimes reported.To help you push forwards in your career with us, we invest in developing our team as well as looking after them, with an expansive wellbeing and counselling service along with a range of support networks.If this sounds like the role for you please see the full job description and click to apply
