Subsidiary Governance Manager Salary Circa £80,000 We have an exciting opportunity for a Subsidiary Governance Manager to join our outstanding Corporate Governance Function. This role will manage the development and execution and delivery of best practice Subsidiary Governance, ensuring alignment with the broader Corporate Governance Function strategy. A bit about the job: The Subsidiary Governance Manager will provide training, support and oversight to trainees across all subsidiary governance activities, in particular, providing technical training on regulatory and legal requirements. Support the implementation of new processes and governance activities in line with regulatory developments and the Corporate Governance transformation programme. The role will identify and escalate risk issues, gathering support as required from a Senior Subsidiary Governance Manager. Skills and experience weâre looking for: CGI qualified with a thorough understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance frameworks, particularly those relevant to corporate governance in the insurance industry. Strong grasp of governance best practices, including risk management, subsidiary governance structures, and the roles of boards and committees. Proven expertise in subsidiary and regulatory compliance management, including conducting assessments, internal audits, and risk evaluations to ensure regulatory adherence. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across senior management, regulators, and internal teams. Proficiency in project management and continuous improvement, leveraging analytical skills and innovation to enhance governance and compliance initiatives.
