As a technical advisor you will provide technical expertise and leadership on air dispersion modelling. You will review and interpret air quality impact assessments; provide advice and training to colleagues across the organisation; and carry out complex modelling studies. You will work closely with other members of the team, providing technical coaching and helping to support their development. You will work with colleagues across the organisation to support policy and research in air quality. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in incident response. You will have• A minimum of degree level or equivalent in a science or engineering discipline.• Significant air quality modelling experience gained through regulatory, consultancy or industry roles; or significant technical experience in a regulated industry sector.• A proven ability to analyse data and solve problems to make decisions.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and accessible way.• Strong interpersonal and team-working skills and the ability to coach colleagues.Membership or Chartership with a relevant professional organisation is desirable, as is experience in computer programming.
