  • Location Focus: This role requires you to be based from one of SSEN Transmission's Scottish locations: Inverness, Aberdeen, Glasgow, or Perth.
  • Core Responsibilities: The Technical Coordinator will be instrumental in:
    • Assisting Project Engineering teams with the delivery of major projects.
    • Managing project accounts, purchase orders, and supplier payments.
    • Coordinating and preparing for crucial engineering meetings, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
    • Organising project reporting to ensure timely and high-quality output.
    • Coordinating technical tasks, including utility searches and Symology requests.
    • Assisting with CDM Compliance Reviews and general administrative duties.
    • Managing the financial lifecycle of requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Essential Skills and Experience: Candidates should possess:
    • Proven project experience, ideally within a similar industry.
    • A strong ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
    • Exceptional administrative and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing workloads.
    • Experience in managing project finances is highly advantageous.
    • A qualification or experience in an engineering role or for an engineering company would be a significant asset.
