We are recruiting a Trade Supervisor to lead a team of 10 to 12 Electricians as they carry out the Smoke Detection Installation project across Sanctuary’s property portfolio. The aim of the project is to install new smoke detectors within Sanctuary’s properties throughout England to comply with the latest regulations coming into force on the 1st of October 2022.
The role will involve leading a team to ensure high-quality electrical maintenance and remedial services are delivered to our customers. You will also work closely with dedicated Planner(s) and Operations Managers to successfully deliver a unique programme within agreed timescales and budgets.
Once the project finishes, it doesn’t end there! You will transition into leading a regional in-house team responsible for delivering a 5 year programme of EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) testing and associated remedials in Sanctuary properties.
Skills and experiences:Knowledge of NICEIC accreditation, experience of using NICEIC forms portal and an understanding of liaising with NICEIC 3rd party audits C&G 2391 testing and inspection, 18th Edition 2nd Amendment and any other relevant qualification i.e., time served apprenticeship Previous experience supervising a team with knowledge of working on domestic properties and systems Experience of carrying out electrical installation testing and industry form completion Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation Basic user of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar) This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
