The Lifelong Learning Centre (LLC) works to widen participation at the University of Leeds, especially in relation to mature learners. The Centre offers Higher Apprenticeships in Healthcare for Assistant Practitioners and Nursing Associates. These Foundation Degrees are designed for clinical support workers who are part of the non-registered workforce delivering health and social care in a range of settings.

Integration between academic and professional learning is a key feature of the programmes, as is support for participants in the acquisition of skills for success in higher education. You must have relevant experience of working with apprentices and/or students and a strong record of working with learners from diverse backgrounds.
