They will be accountable for the implementation and coordination of all policies and programmes in the HR field. This includes employment, legal compliance, immigration, training, employee relations, organisational development, compensation and benefits and performance management. The role reports to the HR Director, Western Region, Automation Solutions and partners with the Senior Management team to drive the business forward. The post holder will also act as the Data Protection Coordinator. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Set and implement HR objectives, policies and practices in UK/I in support of strategic objectives and in order to attract, retain and develop appropriately skilled and committed employees. Advise UK/I and European management on the application of local employment and data protection matters and in respect of employee relations issues. Build and roll-out programmes relating to employee wellbeing/engagement (including occupational health), working collaboratively with the H&S team. Support the execution of projects by providing HR advice guaranteeing adherence to all vital corporate assignment policies/tax and immigration requirements. Develop and agree annual communications plans for the business, in support of both business and employee relations objectives and within the constraints of local law. Direct and guide recruitment processes to respect a desirable timeframe and cost and attract skilled and motivated employees to the organisation. Manage overall compensation and benefits programmes, including any ex-pat administration and the management of HR payroll processes, the annual pay review and bonus. Guide and direct organisation review processes; follow up on and implement career development and succession plans. Work with internal and external learning and development providers to support the delivery of the Emerson Process Management development strategy. Guide the development and implementation of performance management processes within the organisation. Act as the ethics' contact for the company and to ensure the communication and implementation of the specific policies. Provide metrics, analytical data and reporting to support budgets, forecasts and employee surveys. Lead the HR Business Partners, HR Managers and Shared Services team effectively. Sustain an environment where HR staff can develop competencies and proficiency while engaging in execution of services. You are passionate about making an impact and always act with integrity. You continuously push yourself to achieve new goals and are not afraid to question the status quo by proposing creative solutions to problems.
