We are looking to expand our small warehouse team by recruiting an experienced warehouse specialist to support the Warehouse Supervisor. This role is hands on and requires multi-tasking and attention to detail as well as good technical skills, the ability to prioritise daily / weekly tasks and the ability to deputise for the Warehouse Supervisor. The role will include goods in processing, sampling, testing, picking and receipting, as well as national and international shipping. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to work on projects and process improvements.

Purpose Statement

To effectively support the manufacturing of products by BSCI to the required quality standard.

Key Responsibilities

Support the manufacture of products by BSCI through strict application of the relevant procedures and quality standards to complete warehouse and distribution activities. Plan and complete day to day warehousing operations, including ERP transactions and inventory management systems. Hold daily Warehouse meetings and provide required data to site Leaders. Regularly deputise for Warehouse Supervisor in prioritising the team's work and ensuring execution to the required standards and timeline. Ensure efficient use of warehousing storage space, including off site storage. Ensure GMP compliance at all times, including appropriate labelling and segregation of materials. Raise, action and complete QMS activities such as Quality Events, Issues, CC Actions and Documentation updates using a Quality Management System (QMS) Complete sampling and tests / measurements activities on raw materials and components. Complete activities required for release of materials / components to inventory. Schedule slots and Coordinate shipments to 3rd party service providers (e.g. sterilisers). Process and track national and/or international shipments including dangerous goods shipments and export documentation. Place and manage warehouse consumables Purchase Orders. Management of non-conforming materials including stock disposals. Cycle counting inventory as part of a team. Escalate any Warehouse/Supply Chain related issues with relevant departments. Participate in continuous improvement programs or team projects to enhance our quality, customer service and costs. Manage warehouse KPI's board. Contribute as part of a team in achieving the line core metrics. Ensure that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with all EHS principles and BSCI values. In all actions, demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

The successful candidate will have experience of ERP systems (E.g. Oracle) as well as GXP requirements and computerized Quality Management Systems. Full training will be provided.

Experience with handling / shipping Dangerous Goods and of documentation management would also be an advantage.

Working hours: 36.5 hours a week Monday to Friday covering 8:00 am to 4:00 / 4:30pm
