Inventing the Future, Creating the Plan and Enabling Operations.The pressure on water resources continues to be evident and increasing challenges will be felt with a growing population and changing climate. Without intervention England will see significant supply deficits by 2050 and increasing impacts on the environment.Future investment and changes to how we manage water is essential to increase resilience and reduce the risk to both people and the environment. Over the coming years we will deliver strategic transformational work, including moving to EPR, greater financial investment and work on the National Framework.We need an agile workforce that can move between significant projects to drive delivery. The potholder will be one of six who will move between projects to deliver our highest priorities. We will cater to individuals’ strengths, but the role will provide a breadth of opportunity's across policy, technical, enabling operations, government and external liaison. - Agility to move on to new work areas and quickly gain understanding to deliver results- Communicates and works well with others and in teams- Experience of policy/project/change delivery- Problem solvers and decision makers that can work at pace- Good political/customer awareness- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
