Without intervention England will see significant supply deficits by 2050 and increasing impacts on the environment.Future investment and changes to how we manage water is essential to increase resilience and reduce the risk to both people and the environment.We are seeking 3 career trainees to join Water Resources. This a great opportunity to gain both a broad understanding of Water Resource and develop a specialism. Your role will be in supporting one of the following teams/areas to deliver and develop a specialism- Water assets – Future strategy, programme delivery and net zero for infrastructure - Water data and digital – Developing and implement the Water Resources Digital Licensing System and the data that supports decision making- Sustainable abstraction – How do we move away from unsustainable catchments and protect rare habit like chalk streams - A passion for the environment and water- You will be keen to learn and develop as an individual in both what you do and how you do it- Ability to work independently and as part of a team - A drive to build a career base to move onto future posts within the organisation.
