The job itself

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of an Adult Social Care Admin L1 at the Councils Beechwood Service in Welton, Brough. Beechwood is an independent support living service for people with a learning disability/autism.

Working at Beechwood, you will become part of the Supported Housing Team, a CQC registered service in the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, working to support and enable people who have a learning disability/autism to live as independent lives as possible. Beechwood are proud to hold an overall good CQC rating.

We are looking for an Administrator to support the Registered Manager and Senior Care Officer in the day-to-day operational management of the service.

The post is a varied one and we are seeking applications from motivated individuals who enjoy a challenge and who are committed to providing a quality service. You must have a good standard of education, excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Supporting the team with effective administrative support is more important than ever and you will form a key part in the services work.

Duties will include answering the telephone, word processing, data input, invoice and payment processing, dealing with the delivery of goods and services and stock control. Reception duties will also be required in this post.
