Our time is NOW. ERM, the worlds largest pure play sustainability consultancy, are seeking a Principal Consultant to lead our growing and close-knit Acoustics team in Northern Europe. This team is part of a broader global technical community of over 100 noise and vibration specialists. In this role, you can enjoy hybrid working available from any of our 16 UK offices. We are experiencing rapid growth in renewable energy workload, and this appointment will help us to capitalise on that. You will work on projects in the UK and internationally. In this senior, client-facing role, you will lead the delivery of the high-quality noise and vibration assessments and services we provide, either as part of broader Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) or standalone acoustics commissions. You will use your skills to provide technical support and expert advice to our clients. These can both internal (within ERM) and external, and they are diverse in nature given the broad interests and global reach of our business. You will collaborate with technical teams and project managers around the business, in order to identify any potential noise issues and if these may impact on design and other parts of the EIA. You will also support team development, driving technical excellence within the team by coaching, mentoring and completing technical reviews of work produced by the team. Why join ERM?
