Are you committed to delivering an exceptional applicant experience? Are you a well-organised and adaptable individual with a strong customer service orientation? Do you have effective communication and interpersonal skills? Would you like to work in our busy admissions service supporting the applicant journey?
The aim of the Integrated Student Recruitment Service is to provide an outstanding, equitable and efficient service for all enquirers, applicants and offer-holders, regardless of enquiry and application volume, complexity or time of year.
As a result of this, the Admissions Assistant is required to have extensive knowledge of admissions to support enquiry handling and admissions practices from first point of contact through to arrival at the University, with a practical understanding of the systems and processes in use to support the applicant journey.
This is a cross-service level role, which means you will be required to work in different parts of the Admissions Service, based on the time in the yearly admissions cycle and the needs of the service. The role is hybrid working, and we have a shared working space for colleagues to work on campus. For certain key events, not exclusive but including Confirmation and Clearing and key training, you will be expected to work on campus. You may also be required to work occasional non-standard hours including evenings and weekends.
This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Information on other visa options is available at: https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas.
