Key Considerations for Your Career Path:

• Essential Experience: A strong foundation in welding or metal fabrication, coupled with experience in the defence sector (preferably army-related), is crucial for success in this role.
• Formal Qualifications: Candidates will need to possess a Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent), an Award/Certificate in Education & Training (or equivalent), and GCSEs (grade C or above) in Maths and English. A minimum Level 3 industry-related qualification is also required.
• Travel Commitment: The role necessitates travel across various internal and customer sites, including Tidworth, Lyneham, and Southampton. This is an inherent part of the role and ensures comprehensive support for apprentices.
