Area Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity to join B&M as an Area Manager in the Devon & Cornwall Area!

This role will cover circa 13 stores across Devon & Cornwall. Applicants will ideally be located on patch, or within a reasonable commute to this area (within 45 minutes).  

About the Role

We are looking for an Area Manager who is passionate about people, customers and achieving challenging but rewarding business goals. In an area consisting of c.13 stores, you’ll need to be commercially driven and will be given the autonomy to drive the performance of your area. You’ll motivate, nurture, and encourage your team to develop on their personal performance as well as deliver the business strategy using exceptional leadership and coaching skills.

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll be able to demonstrate:

Strong leadership and communication skills A proven track record of delivering sales targets Experience leading & implementing business strategy, plans and driving compliance Working knowledge of current employment practices Experience influencing senior stakeholders and teams FMCG/brown box/grocery experience is desirable

It’s also essential that applicants have the following:

Experience managing multi-site teams in a fast-paced retail environment, at Area or Regional Manager level FMCG, brown box, grocery or discount retail experience
