We’re offering a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Home Décor team as an Assistant Merchandiser. This is the ideal role for someone who understands merchandising, has strong commercial awareness, and is ready to learn, grow, and build a successful career in a fast-paced retail environment.
This role is fully office-based, 5 days a week at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool (L24).
Working closely with the Senior Merchandiser, you’ll provide analytical and administrative support to help drive department performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the team with sales forecasting and intake planning. Monitoring product availability and stock levels across core ranges. Producing accurate weekly and ad-hoc reports. Creating and managing purchase orders. Working alongside the buying team and other departments to ensure smooth processes and great results.We’re looking for someone who is:
Analytically minded, with strong Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups). Commercially aware, with a genuine interest in how products perform in retail. You don’t need to have previous merchandising experience – but you do need to show us you’re ready to hit the ground running. Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. A great communicator, both written and verbal. Eager to learn, ask questions, and grow within the role.Why Join B&M Retail?
